UAV-LiDAR Survey for Induwa Khola PROR Hydropower
Sankhuwasabha in Koshi Province has been identified as a key area for hydropower development. Vision Tesla initiated a UAV-LiDAR survey in Sankhuwasabha, Koshi Province, to support hydropower and transmission line planning as part of a broader effort to harness sustainable energy resources in Nepal. Our team at Geovation Nepal participated to ensure precise data collection. Using advanced UAV-LiDAR technology, we generated high-resolution Digital Terrain Models (DTM), Digital Surface Models (DSM), detailed contour maps, and feature extractions.
This data was crucial for informed decision-making, optimizing project execution, minimizing environmental impacts, and improving energy production. Local leaders praised the initiative, recognizing its potential to advance hydropower development in Nepal
